The University of Georgia’s 50th annual Risk Management and Insurance Careers Day will take place on Monday, October 5, 2026, at The Classic Center in downtown Athens, GA. This event provides opportunities for employers to meet and interview many highly qualified students seeking internship roles and full-time employment within the insurance, risk management, actuarial science, and employee benefits communities.
Our 2025 RMI Careers Day had over 80 employers and more than 400 RMI students in attendance. Employers were able to speak to students directly and fill full-time and internship roles. Our Fall 2026 event will be held October 5, 2025, from 3:30–6:30 p.m. at The Classic Center. Questions can be directed to the RMI Careers Day Coordinators.

Interviews
Day-after interviews on Tuesday, October 6 and Wednesday, October 7, 2026 will take place at the Classic Center in downtown Athens, Georgia, the same building as the career fair on Monday, October 5. Please make sure your candidates and recruiters are aware that the interview location is not on campus this year. Interview tables are available for $100 per table per day and will be assigned on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Registration for interview rooms on October 6 and 7 will take place on the Careers Day registration page.
All other interview requests must be made online in Handshake. Since a number of our recruiters are attending from outside Georgia, we strongly encourage those of you from the Atlanta area to consider participating in the information display period on October 6 and returning to campus in the following weeks to conduct your interviews. If you have questions regarding conducting interviews at the UGA Career Center or the Handshake system, please email Debi Grayson.
