Terry’s Development and Alumni Relations staff is committed to helping current students connect with alumni in meaningful ways that support each other. Alumni can offer advice and mentorship, connect with students based on career interests, and support recruitment and hiring. Students can grow their personal networks, celebrate UGA traditions, and show their gratitude to the college through the Student Philanthropy Council and class gifts. TerryConnect
TerryConnect was created to bridge Terry students and an international network of more than 75,000 alumni, all eager to network and support those connected to the Terry College. Students can join TerryConnect on LinkedIn and build relationships with Terry alumni, leading to shared information and advice, hiring opportunities and long-term networking.
Student of the Year
Each spring, the Terry College Alumni Board recognizes the Student of the Year, a graduating senior exemplifying the ideals of the Terry College while demonstrating the skills and commitment required to succeed in college, business and life. The board also recognizes four other outstanding seniors as finalists for the award, announced during Terry’s Honors Day.
Student Philanthropy Council
Join the Student Philanthropy Council, comprised of Terry College undergraduate students who play an integral role in outreach efforts for the college’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations. The goal is building a culture of philanthropy within Terry’s student body to ensure fellow students become engaged and loyal alumni donors.
Alum of the Day
The Terry College boasts more than 75,000 alumni living in 80 countries, each with distinct experiences, career paths, interests and connections to the university. Each week, the Terry College proudly features an alumnus as our Alum of the Day, individuals who set the Terry standard — whether in business, the community, or their engagement with the college and its students.
Class Gifts
Class gift campaigns inspire a culture of giving among Terry students as they approach graduation. Each pledged gift goes into a fund that directly supports the donor’s academic program. Class gifts are a convenient way to pool resources and begin giving back to the college.
