Young Alumni Board
Vision
To develop and maintain the most dynamic and responsive young alumni organization in the country by establishing a shared sense of community among individuals whose ties to one another and to the Terry College of Business and the University of Georgia do not end with graduation.
Mission
Serve and support recent graduates of the Terry College of Business with programs and communications that are uniquely tailored to their needs and perspectives, and promote and support the College’s programs and activities to cultivate and encourage a continuing affiliation among recent graduates and the institution.
Terry’s Young Alumni Board is comprised of 60 graduates from across the country who are 35 years old or younger. Founded in 2007, the board is charged with outreach and engagement to Terry’s young alumni community. The board’s mission is to develop initiatives that link students to alumni, foster a culture of giving, and support the college’s goal of excellence in education.
Initiatives
As Terry College celebrates more than 100 years as a business school, the Second Century Club recognizes emerging philanthropists who earned their bachelor’s degree fewer than 12 years ago. These young alumni make a meaningful annual gift and are setting the standard for alumni of the next century.
TerryConnect is your online platform for expanding and sharing your Terry network through the convenience of LinkedIn. Engage with fellow alumni while offering students advice, connections and more to shape their student story.
Join the movement and help the Young Alumni Board in their Signature Project, 10 for Terry. By signing up for a $10 monthly recurring gift to the Terry Excellence Fund, you can give back and have a positive impact on the opportunities and education of Terry students. While it’s a small investment, you can make a significant impact!
