Econ AB/MA Program
Learn how to conduct the kind of high-level economic research that is increasingly valued in academia, public policy, and the private sector. The Economics Department offers an MA degree for exceptional UGA undergraduates through the Double Dawgs Program. In the MA program, you will complete PhD-level coursework alongside our doctoral students and have the opportunity to write a thesis on a topic of your choosing under the supervision of our tenure-track faculty.
Master of Science in Business Analytics

Dual Degrees - MBA
Three-Year JD/MBA, Four-Year JD/MBA, and LLM/MBA
Prospective students who wish to pursue both a law degree and an MBA have three options: a three-year JD/MBA, a more in-depth four-year JD/MBA, and an LLM/MBA for graduates of foreign law schools.
MBA/MPH
Available for MPH students pursuing the Health Policy and Management concentration, this degree track teaches the skillset needed for those wishing to serve at the intersection of public health and business.
MBA-MSBA STEM Track
For students who are interested in analytics careers and want more extensive preparation, we offer an MBA-MSBA STEM Track.
MD-MBA
MD students currently enrolled at any accredited U.S. medical school may choose to earn a Georgia MBA with one additional year of academic coursework during their medical studies.
PharmD/MBA
Doctor of Pharmacy students can get an edge on the competition with the PharmD/MBA dual degree track. Eligible students can complete both programs in five years.
Engineering/MBA
Undergraduate engineering students can earn both their Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree and an MBA in a total of five years through this Double Dawgs program, which is also the first and only BS/MBA degree offered by the University System of Georgia.
DUAL DEGREES – MAcc
5-Year BBA/MAcc
Current UGA undergraduate accounting majors can satisfy requirements for both their BBA and MAcc degrees with this path. Advisement is necessary.
Double Dawg BBA/MAcc
Terry admits who are non-accounting majors can complete this program to pursue either public accounting, consulting or advisory positions.
JD/MAcc
Over three years, students who majored in accounting and who want to pursue a career in tax law and become licensed as both a CPA and an attorney can graduate with both a Juris Doctor and a Masters of Accountancy – Taxation.
MAcc/MS Financial Planning
Accounting undergraduates interested in both personal financial planning and taxation can complete this 3-semester program, earning two master's degrees and qualifying to sit for the CPA, CFP and PFS exams.
