Terry’s Real Estate Program, which began in the early 1960s, is recognized by publications such as U.S. News & World Report as one of the finest in the nation. The program has been consistently ranked in the top five of U.S. News & World Report’s annual survey since 2005, and no other real estate program in the Southeast is ranked as high as Terry’s.

Real estate is an exciting subject for students to study because it is essentially building an understanding of the world around them. It is hard to find a company not impacted by real estate. Our majors not only sell and lease commercial real estate, they are leaders in the development, lending, investments and management of real estate. Real estate has a place for outgoing personalities and the more reserved, as well as anything in between. Come learn how to focus your energy and aptitude on something applied and specific with a direct link to careers in the workplace.

Positions and Placements

In a typical year, we place an average of 70 students in internships at firms across the country. In addition to internships, Terry also contributes to the career placement of its real estate graduates through a résumé book that is mailed to more than 450 firms on a semi-annual basis. That exposure enabled numerous firms to recruit our students. In a typical year, more than 60 full-time positions in the marketplace are advertised to real estate majors.
