Vicki Williams
Chief Human Resources Officer, NBCUniversal
Director, Annaly Capital Management
Vicki Williams is chief human resources officer for NBCUniversal, a legacy leader in the entertainment industry with approximately 70,000 employees across more than 30 countries.
In her role, Williams is responsible for leading NBCUniversal’s human resources strategy, including its culture, employee engagement, organizational design, rewards and recognition, talent acquisition, the employee service center and human resources systems and operations.
Before NBCUniversal, Williams was a consultant on compensation and benefits as a partner with Pay Governance LLC and was previously a principal with Towers Perrin (now WTW). In these roles, she worked directly with boards of directors and senior management on all elements of compensation and benefits. She worked in several industries but maintained a strong concentration in the entertainment and media industries.
She joined the board of directors of Annaly Capital Management in 2018. As an independent director, she chairs the Management Development & Compensation Committee and serves on the Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee.
Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in education and an MBA from the University of Georgia. After serving six years on the Terry College of Business Alumni Board, she now serves on the Emeritus Board.
She lives in Manhattan with her husband, rescue dog and rescue cat. She is an active volunteer with Best Friends Animal Society and serves on the board of Korean K9 Rescue.
