The William E. and Barbara H. Beckham Jr. Workforce Management Certificate equips participants with the professional, social, and cultural knowledge needed to successfully launch their careers in a competitive job market.
This non-academic certificate introduces essential skills for developing management capability, empowering participants to lead individuals, improve organizational performance, and navigate an ever-changing career landscape. Participants will develop leadership competencies in conflict management, communication, cultural awareness, and organizational management.
The program was created thanks to a generous gift from UGA alumnus Bill Beckham in honor of his parents.

The Workforce Management Certificate is administered through the Office of Professional and Community Engagement.
Certification Requirements
In order to receive this certification, students must complete the following:
- Complete all online coursework.
- Work with an assigned team to develop an individual project outlining lessons learned and practical application of outlined management skills.
