Pathway MBA for STEM Majors
The Pathway MBA is a one-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) program for eligible STEM majors or masters degree1 students at accredited U.S. public or private institutions. Designed for high-achieving early-career professionals, the program provides a broad foundation in business and develops the skills needed for professional advancement and long-term career success.
Pathway MBA students take classes at UGA’s main campus in Athens, GA and receive the same career services support and student life opportunities as students in the Full-Time MBA program. Interested applicants can apply through the Full-Time MBA & Pathway MBA Application during their final year of study.
UGA Engineering students can take their education to the next level through the Double Dawgs dual degree option, offered within the Pathway MBA program. This unique opportunity allows you to earn both your engineering and MBA degrees in an efficient, streamlined path. Plan of Study
This accelerated program is 36 credit hours and can be completed in two semesters. The curriculum is comprised of eight “MBA Core” courses, an experiential learning course, a business intelligence course, and an additional elective of your choosing. In addition, the Communications and Career Effectiveness course will prepare you to be an effective leader and communicator in future business roles.

Application Requirements
Admissions requirements and deadlines are the same as for the Full-Time MBA.
A complete application includes:
- One-page Résumé
- Letters of Recommendation: two (2) required; it is preferred that one letter be from an internship supervisor
- Unofficial transcripts
- Unofficial GMAT or GRE scores
- Unofficial TOEFL or IELTS (if required)
- Short Written Responses: three (3) required, one (1) optional
- Optional Video Essay
- $100 application fee
In addition, Pathway applicants must have completed at least one internship.
Deadlines
There are four application rounds, running from October through May. Applications received after the Round 4 deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the class is filled. Candidates are encouraged to apply in earlier rounds, as space in the class may become more limited in later rounds.
Tuition & Fees
Pathway MBA students pay the same tuition and fees as students in the full-time, two-year MBA program.
