Bachelor of Business Administration—Real Estate [Go to Undergrad]
The undergraduate real estate program provides the student with an analytical foundation and a firm understanding of the areas of real estate finance, investment, and valuation. The major in real estate is directed toward students planning for a career in real estate brokerage, leasing, mortgage lending, investments, management, appraising, or development. The real estate analysis sequence is designed to improve an individual’s ability to make real estate acquisition, management, and disposition decisions, through courses in asset management, development, finance and valuation. The courses challenge the student by combining a rigorous theoretical foundation with applications such as case studies and market simulations. Ph.D. Program [Go to PhD]
The Ph.D. program in Real Estate is designed to prepare students for teaching and research at universities and colleges and for positions in government and business. The Ph.D. in Real Estate emphasizes intensive training in real estate, economics, econometrics, and finance, while at the same time providing a comprehensive teaching experience. A student can also combine their program with law, management, marketing, or accounting in order to meet their career objectives. |
