The annual Terry College of Business Undergraduate and Graduate Convocation ceremonies look different this year due to the unexpected closure of Stegeman Coliseum, but the special meaning of honoring Terry’s graduating students hasn’t changed a bit.

Two ceremonies are slated for the Terry College Undergraduate Convocation on Wednesday, May 10 at the Classic Center in downtown Athens — the first at 5 p.m. (doors at 4:15 p.m.) with the second at 8 (doors at 7:15). Tickets are required for graduates and ceremony guests and the ceremonies are open for Fall 2022 graduates and undergraduates eligible to complete their degrees in the spring 2023 or summer 2023 semesters. The Undergraduate Convocation ceremonies will broadcast live on the Terry College homepage starting at 4:55 and 7:55 p.m.

The Graduate Convocation ceremony begins at 9 a.m. (doors at 8 a.m.) on Wednesday, May 10 at the Classic Center, and tickets are not required for graduates and ceremony guests. Graduates should arrive no later than 8:20 a.m., dressed in cap and gown. Fall 2022 graduates and students eligible to complete their degrees in the spring or summer 2023 semesters are invited to participate. The Graduate Convocation ceremony will broadcast live on the Terry homepage at 8:55 a.m.

Prohibited items include alcoholic beverages, glass and aluminum containers, tobacco, large items such as balloons, banners and posters, and amplification equipment such as bullhorns or megaphones.
