Eligibility Requirements

BBA Applicants

Currently enrolled at UGA

All applicants to the Terry College of Business must be currently enrolled in the University of Georgia.
Have a 2.6 overall GPA

And a 2.0 UGA GPA
Have completed the BBA Core Curriculum

Applicants need to have completed, or be in progress of completion, GenEd Areas I – VI, 60 hours and MSIT 3000. In addition, a grade or exemption in MATH 1113 must be posted to your UGA academic record.
Testing Requirements
- All applicants must complete the ETS Proficiency Profile.
- Accounting applicants must also complete the Terry Accounting Exam.
Tests are administered by the UGA Testing Center and all questions regarding testing times, fees, and scores should be directed there.

We recommend having a back-up major in the event you are not accepted to your preferred major. Be sure to review the selection criteria for each major.

Compose a Statement of Purpose

A Statement of Purpose is a brief essay (300-400 words) which describes your interest in a major and future goals. A separate Statement of Purpose is required for each major.

The application window for the BBA program opens on June 1.

Acceptance emails are sent from the Undergraduate Programs Office to your UGA email address.

Have completed the AB Core Curriculum

Applicants need to have completed, or be in progress of completion of 58 hours, including a foreign language. Completion of ECON 2105 (H) and ECON 2106 (H) with grade of "C" (2.0) or better in each course is required.

The AB application will be available in Fall 2013.
