Program Highlights

  • The Professional MBA program can be completed in 17, 20, or 23 months.
  • All students take 10 required core courses (modules 1-5) and six electives (modules 6-8) to complete their degree. During the elective portion of the program, each student will select their preferred electives. Electives can take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings from 6–9 p.m., or on Saturdays from 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
  • Students can pursue certificates in Leading Change and/or a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Students can also choose to pursue concentrations in Digital Business & Technology, Finance/Accounting, Global Business, Innovation/Entrepreneurship, Leadership/Human Resources Management, Marketing, Operations/Supply Chain Management, or Real Estate.

Hybrid Format Structure

The hybrid format of the Professional MBA Program provides structure and flexibility for working professionals with demanding careers. When students join the program, they will choose their preferred class schedule. All schedules are hybrid which include a mix of in-person, online, and distance learning. Before the start of each module, there will be 1 prep week where students can access their course materials and prepare for their first class meeting. During each 12 week module, there will be:

  • 4 in-person class weeks in Atlanta
  • 3 online synchronous class weeks
  • The remainder of the module is executed through distance learning. Distance learning weeks do not have scheduled class meetings, and give students the flexibility to continue their education outside of the classroom.

Modules start with the first two weeks of classes held in person, followed by a distance learning week. The next two weeks are online synchronous class weeks, giving students access to the same professor and content, but in an online format. The remainder of the module will conclude with 1 week of in person learning, 1 online synchronous week, 1 distance learning week, and a finals week. For finals, each professor will confirm the format (in-person or online) for the final class meeting. This format results in a 50/50 blend of in-person and online learning.

Weekday Evening Hybrid Schedule

For students who prefer to take their classes during the week, they can choose between a Monday/Wednesday evening or Tuesday/Thursday evening hybrid class schedule.

  • Monday and Wednesday (*M/W) evenings from 6–9 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday (*T/Th) evenings from 6–9 p.m.

Saturday Hybrid Schedule

Students who prefer to take classes on the weekend can choose the Saturday Hybrid Schedule which offers classes exclusively on Saturdays. The Saturday schedule includes in-person learning, online learning, and distance weeks, providing a 50/50 mix of in-person and online learning.

  • Saturdays (*S) from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. (with a lunch break from 12–1 p.m.)

Cohort & Team Based

  • Professional MBA students will start and end their MBA program together as a cohort. The cohort includes students across all program class schedules, including students in the Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday, and Saturday class sections.
  • Within each class section, students will work in teams. Working in teams requires students to work with people from different educational and professional backgrounds, while also giving them the assurance that they have a support system in place to execute team based homework assignments, team projects, and other tasks in each course. The first student teams will be formed during Module 1, and will remain in place through Module 5 as students complete the core curriculum. During modules 6–8, each student will select their preferred electives. Each elective course will require specific team formations and will be formed based on the professor’s requirements.
