The University of Georgia Professional MBA can be completed in 17, 20, or 23 months through a hybrid format that combines in-person, online, and distance-learning coursework. Students complete 10 core courses across five modules and six electives across modules six through eight.
Hybrid Schedule Options
Weekday Evenings
Classes meet on weekday evenings (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, 6–9 p.m.), allowing professionals to advance their education while continuing to work full time.
Saturdays
Classes meet primarily on Saturdays (9 a.m.–4 p.m. with a lunch break from 12–1 p.m.), offering a convenient option for busy professionals with weekday commitments.

Hybrid Format Structure
The hybrid format of the Professional MBA Program provides structure and flexibility for working professionals with demanding careers. When students join the program, they will choose their preferred class schedule. All schedules are hybrid which include a mix of in-person, online, and distance learning. Before the start of each module, there will be 1 prep week where students can access their course materials and prepare for their first class meeting.

Collaborative, Cohort-Based Learning
Throughout Modules 1 through 5, you’ll complete the core curriculum alongside the same cohort of experienced professionals, creating a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Working closely with classmates from a variety of industries and backgrounds enriches classroom discussions, broadens your perspective, and provides opportunities to learn from others’ professional experiences.
Through team projects and shared challenges, you’ll build meaningful relationships and a professional network that extends well beyond graduation.

Program Welcome & Onboarding
All incoming students are expected to attend the Program Welcome & Onboarding event.

Preparatory Workshops (Optional)
Incoming students can attend a preparatory workshop which will ease their transition into graduate school. The preparatory workshops will be virtual and include multiple sessions throughout the day from 8:00 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.

Team Strengths Workshops (Optional)
During the first distance learning week, students can attend a Team Strengths workshop with their new teammates to learn more about each other’s strengths and how to work as a team as you navigate through the MBA Core Curriculum. Students can attend one workshop with their student team

Students who choose to complete the program within 17 months will complete six electives by the end of Module 6 – March 2029. Students completing in 17 months will not be able to complete a concentration.
