Benefits for Veterans
Application Fee Waivers
GMAT or GRE Scores
The Executive MBA Program does not require GMAT or GRE scores.
Fees + Out of State Tuition Waivers
If you are deployed while enrolled in the EMBA program, your tuition and fees will remain locked at the same rate at which you enrolled and you will be guaranteed a seat in the current class upon your return. In addition, Active Georgia National Guard, U.S. Military Reservists, and Service members who enroll in an academic program within 12 months of separation from service who are or intend to become Georgia residents may qualify for out-of-state tuition waivers.
Flexible Program Format
The Executive MBA program typically meets once a month on Fridays and Saturdays in Atlanta from 8:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m.. There is a 4-day residency at the beginning of the program in module 1 in Athens, and another 4-day residency at the conclusion of the program in module 10 in Athens. There is also an international residency at the mid-point of the program. When students aren’t on campus, they complete their coursework at their own pace with the support of their student team.
Collaborative and Supportive
We value collaboration over competition. Our cohort structure allows for more personal interaction with faculty, staff, and your fellow classmates. Each cohort of students start and move through the program together.
Set Program Lengths
Calendars are set for the entire MBA program a year in advance of when the program starts. This helps military personnel know exactly what their time commitments will look like.
Career Transition Support
Veteran and active duty military candidates receive career counseling and preparation for their transition from the military to the civilian workforce or within their respective units, with an emphasis on their leadership credentials and operational capabilities.
Georgia MBA Veterans Club
The Georgia MBA Veterans Club is dedicated to providing social, support, and networking opportunities centered around the theme of military service. Students and alumni from the Georgia Executive, Professional, and Full-Time MBA programs can participate.
