Format
Program Highlights
The Online MBA program can be completed in 17, 20, or 23 months. All students take 10 required core courses and 6 electives to complete their degrees.
- During Modules 1-5, students will take (2) core courses per module
- During Modules 6-8, each student will select (6) electives. Each elective will be offered once during module 6, 7, OR 8, and students can take more than 2 elective courses per module.
- If you complete 6 electives by the end of module 6, you will complete the program within 17 months. Completing the program within 17 months typically requires participation in the Domestic and/or International Residency and completion of (4–5) additional electives.
- If you complete 6 electives by the end of module 7, you will complete the program within 20 months.
- If you complete 6 electives by the end of module 8, you will complete the program within 23 months.
Delivery Format
The Online MBA Program can be completed 100% online. Students view class content virtually and complete class activities and assignments at specified times throughout each module. The program will have eight 12-week modules.
Students who wish to participate in the Domestic and/or International Residencies will participate in-person. Each residency counts as an elective course (3 credit hours each).
Electives, Concentrations and Certificates
In addition to earning an MBA degree, Online MBA students can pursue certificates in Leading Change and/or a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Students can also choose to concentrate in Finance/Accounting, Leadership, Public Health Policy and Management, or Operations Management. Electives, concentrations, and certificate options are subject to change.
Professional Development
While learning will take place completely online, Online MBA students will be invited to participate in virtual and in-person professional development and networking opportunities.
Teams
Teams will be assigned at the start of the program in the Organizational Behavior and Leadership course in module 1. Teams are purposefully built to pair you with people who are different from you and you will work in your team in various ways in each of your courses. Elective courses will vary and will require specific team formations. These teams will be formed based on each professor’s requirements.

Class Schedule
Teams for modules 1–5 are formed within the first two class weeks of the Organizational Behavior and Leadership course. Students can attend a Team Strengths workshop with their new teammates to learn more about each other’s strengths and how to work as a team as you navigate through the MBA Core Curriculum. Students can attend one Team Strengths workshop with their student team.

Students who choose to complete the program within 17 months will complete six electives by March 2028. Completing the program within 17 months typically requires participation in the Domestic and/or International Residency, in addition to (4-5) additional electives offered during module 6. Students completing in 17 months will not be able to complete a concentration.
