Leadership Dawgs

Leadership Dawgs is a 12-month program bookended by two in-person weekend meetings that engage participants in active leadership development. The program challenges business professionals to uncover their leadership potential to advance their careers, optimize their team's performance and cultivate a diverse professional network.

The students—Leadership Dawgs—then put these insights into practice through a Community Impact Project (CIP) that supports the needs of Atlanta and Athens-based nonprofits. In addition to working on the CIPs, students complete self-directed curriculum exercises to build on learnings from the first meeting. One year later, participants will return to attend content sessions at the final meeting and share the outcomes of their CIPs. A panel of Leadership Dawgs faculty evaluates the CIPs, and a winning group will have the opportunity to award up to $10,000 to their nonprofit partner.
