Studio 225

The newly repurposed space sits on the edge of where campus meets downtown Athens. Studio 225 serves as the home to the UGA Entrepreneurship Program. It houses faculty/staff offices and space where student entrepreneurs can meet to form teams, meet with mentors, and collaborate to develop ideas.

In addition to huddle rooms, conference rooms, and study nooks, the building includes a variety of multipurpose educational areas – such as a maker space, a pitch deck, and a collaboration space – where students can work through business plans and showcase ideas to potential investors.

Studio 225 hosts numerous activities, such as the Entrepreneurship Speaker Series, national pitch competitions, accelerator programs, and group meetings.

Studio 225 is part of the University of Georgia’s Innovation District, a comprehensive ecosystem of places, programs, and people working together to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning. The Innovation District brings together bright minds from every discipline across campus. It is designed to take on challenges from multiple angles, shape discoveries into marketable solutions, provide customizable problem-solving, and educate tomorrow’s creators to be skilled, experienced, and versatile.
