Keynote Speaker
- President, ADDO Worldwide, LLC
Before his current role, Bart served as Chief Operating Officer at THRIVE Farmers International, Inc. In 2016, the company was recognized as No. 19 on the prestigious Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies.
Bart’s professional journey began in the U.S. Army, where he completed a year-long tour in Baghdad, Iraq. Following his military service, he authored “Because of Baghdad: What a Father Would Say About Life, if He Didn’t Come Home to Say It.” This book received significant recognition and was featured in various media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal Law Blog and The Atlanta Journal & Constitution.
Throughout his career, Bart has received numerous accolades. He was named one of the inaugural Top 40 Under 40 by the Sigma Phi Epsilon National Fraternity in 2015. Additionally, he received the Top 40 Under 40 honors from The Atlanta Business Chronicle in 2012 and the University of Georgia’s inaugural Top 40 Under 40 award in 2011. In 2007, Bart was honored with the University of Georgia’s Blue Key Young Alumnus Award.
Bart graduated magna cum laude with High Honors from the University of Georgia and cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. While at UGA, Bart also served as President of the Student Government Association, rechartered the Georgia Delta Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon, and was a member of two SEC Championship Tennis Teams.
Finally, Bart holds a master’s degree in management, economics & international relations from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
Leadership Dawgs Faculty
Stacy Campbell is the Synovus Director of ILA. Campbell supervises faculty and staff and oversees academic programs and the management of the institute. She coordinates fundraising with Terry and UGA Development and Alumni Relations. She teaches Service-Learning Project Management and Organizational Leadership to the Leonard Leadership Scholars, and Personal and Organizational Leadership, available to all UGA students.
Onyedikachi Ekwerike is a leadership lecturer at ILA. Before UGA, Ekwerike founded the Postpartum Support Network Africa (PSNAfrica), which works to improve access to mental health care for parents struggling with postpartum depression across Africa. Ekwerike teaches Leadership and Personal Development to the ILA Leadership Fellows, and Inclusive Leadership, available to all UGA students.
