The Selig Center for Economic Growth is as endowed economic forecasting and market research center in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. Created to convey economic expertise to Georgia’s businesses and entrepreneurs, the Selig Center conducts research on economic, demographic, and social issues related to Georgia’s current and future growth.
Originally established in the 1940s as the business school’s Division of Research, it was renamed in 1990 in honor of Simon S. Selig, Jr., founder of Selig Enterprises in Atlanta, in whose memory the Center is endowed.
