About the Awards
The Leverett Excellence Awards are named after the founder of the UGA Risk Management and Insurance Program, E.J. Leverett. Each year, outstanding graduating seniors are given this honor at the UGA Insurance Society Banquet.
The recipients are chosen on the basis of their grades and service to the Risk Management and Insurance area. The funding for the Leverett Excellence Awards are just one of the uses of contributions to the E.J. Leverett Fund.
