Economics and genetics major Shriya Garg’s passion comes from the power of personal experience. She grew up as the daughter of two physician parents in rural Georgia. After graduating, she plans to get a medical degree while also earning a master’s in business or public policy.

Terry students use data to help improve cancer patient support

Over the last year, teams of University of Georgia students brought together by the Terry College of Business Office of Professional and Community Engagement worked with leaders at the City of Hope Cancer Treatment Center in Atlanta to help ensure every patient has the data-driven health support they need.
