Judge Steve Jones (BBA ’78, JD ’87) holds a sidebar with one of his goats on his farm outside of Athens, Ga. on Sept. 15, 2023. Judge Jones grew up in Athens and attended Terry College before earning his law degree from UGA and serving as superior court judge in the Western Judicial Circuit. He now serves as a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and spends time on his Athens farm when he is not in Atlanta.
