Terry International Business Program advisors share ideas with peers at GAIE conference in Athens

Holly J. Alderman presents at the 2015 Georgia Association of International Educators conference.

Staff from the Terry’s International Business Programs Office did not have to travel far to present at the summer 2015 conference of the Georgia Association of International Educators, which was held in Athens.

Holly Alderman and Jay Mathias shared how they market study abroad programs and then led a round-table discussion on marketing practices in international education across the state.

“A typical marketing strategy is iterative and cyclical. It should address resources, message, medium, and measures. A successful marketing plan will provide valuable insight with implications for future programming,” Alderman said.

More than 80 delegates from across the state attended the GAIE conference.
