Professional MBA program ranks among nation’s best

The Professional MBA Program, Terry’s 23-month degree for working professionals, has been ranked among the best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.

The program placed 25th among public university programs or No. 37 overall.

“We are pleased that U.S. News & World Report has recognized the Terry College among the nation’s best MBA programs,” said Terry College Dean Ben Ayers. “They provide both affirmation for efforts and motivation to continue to enhance our programs.”

The U.S. News part-time MBA ranking is based on five factors: average peer assessment score (50 percent of the overall score); average GMAT score and GRE scores of part-time MBA students entering in the fall of 2014 (15 percent); average undergraduate GPA (5 percent); work experience (15 percent); and the percentage of the fall 2014 MBA enrollment that is part time (15 percent).

Terry’s Professional MBA Program allows students to attend school part-time through evening classes and distance learning. Classes are available in one of two locations: the Terry Executive Education Center in of Buckhead or the UGA Gwinnett campus just off I-85 in Lawrenceville.
