The 12th annual Professional Women’s Conference is Thursday, November 10, at the Coca-Cola Headquarters in Atlanta. Offering a day of networking and learning through keynote speakers, panel discussions and sessions with industry leaders, executives and mentors, the conference has a distinct focus on personal and professional development, leadership and career growth. We are excited to announce this year’s conference features many energizing and inspiring speakers, including DeRetta Rhodes (BSFCS ’92, Ph.D. ’10), EVP and chief culture officer at the Atlanta Braves, and Julie Moran (ABJ ’84), journalist, television host and sportscaster.
Throughout the years, the proceeds from the Professional Women’s Conference established the Mary Virginia Terry Student Support Fund. To date, $42,500 was awarded to 17 students, with four more awards presented this year. Students used these awards to assist with undergraduate and graduate tuition and expenses, study abroad, travel to professional conferences, equipment and more.
