Biography

Marc Cohen is a part-time instructor at the University of Georgia – Terry College of Business, Department of Marketing.

He is a high-impact Marketing, Sales, and Operations executive with a proven record of designing and teaching real-world marketing strategy, sales process optimization, and revenue generation frameworks. Brings deep expertise across B2B and B2C environments, from startups to Fortune 50 enterprises. Known for translating complex business concepts into actionable strategies—ideal for engaging students and preparing them for modern marketing and sales careers.

Experienced in curriculum-relevant disciplines including strategic marketing, sales enablement, customer experience, sales forecasting and pipeline development, and data-driven decision-making. Adept at mentoring, training, and leading diverse teams globally while driving measurable outcomes.

Marc served 20 years on Sugar Hill City Council as Mayor Pro-Tem and currently serves on the boards of community organizations including the American Legion Post 127, the Players Guild of Sugar Hill, the Sugar Hill Arts Commission, Wild Timber Cares, the Georgia High School Hockey League, and formerly the Gwinnett County Police Citizens Advisory Board.

He is the SVP of Marketing and Sales Administration for ProCare Rx, a leader in Pharmacy Benefit Management, and is the Managing Director of Green Bow Consulting LLC, a boutique marketing, operations, and communications consulting firm. He manages cross-functional teams and is responsible for a variety of marketing, sales, process, and operational initiatives.

Marc has been recognized for his efforts with the University of Georgia – Carl Vinson Institute of Government / Harold F. Holtz Municipal Training Institute for Elected Officials for Government and Policy – Certificate of Dedication (2018), the Knox Municipal Leadership Institute; the Georgia Student Hockey League Governors Award for Outstanding Service to the league and was named the 2025 Volunteer of the Yeat by the City of Sugar Hill.

Marc is a high-performance marketing and operations professional who also has a passion for community involvement. He has a BA in Economics/Business from the University of California at Los Angeles and an MBA in Marketing/Business from San Francisco State University.
