Biography
Dr. Jennifer Osbon is Principal Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Georgia, where she leads the Digital Marketing Area of Emphasis and develops innovative, industry-aligned curriculum designed to prepare students for a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Her teaching portfolio includes courses in social media strategy, digital marketing analytics, and digital marketing privacy and ethics—reflecting her commitment to both performance and responsible practice. In January 2027, she will pilot a new course, AI for Marketing Amplification, equipping students to strategically and ethically leverage artificial intelligence in marketing communications.
Dr. Osbon earned her Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from UGA in 2019, grounding her work at the intersection of marketing, leadership, and institutional strategy. Her academic perspective is strengthened by decades of professional experience, including founding and leading a digital marketing agency. This blend of industry expertise and scholarly insight allows her to bridge theory and practice in meaningful ways for students and professional audiences alike.
Her work centers on helping organizations and individuals elevate their digital presence through strategic communication, data-informed decision-making, and ethical innovation. She is especially passionate about preparing the next generation of marketing leaders to navigate emerging technologies while maintaining integrity, transparency, and impact.
