Heather Roberts

Biography
Heather is originally from Griffin, GA but has lived in Athens since 1994. She graduated from the Terry College of Business with a BBA in Economics and also holds a Master’s in Public Administration from UGA. Heather spent her first thirteen years at UGA working for the Department of Political Science and 4 years advising graduate students in the Department of Communication Sciences and Special Education before advising students in Terry.
Heather’s favorite part of working at UGA is guiding students, in particular, first-generation students who are economically challenged as she was during her undergraduate years. She is a major proponent of diversity, equity, and inclusion and invites all students to consider her office, D319 Orkin Hall, a safe space. Heather’s favorite things in life are her kids, travel, and math- it’s the same in every country! She is also a super fan of The 1975 and travels around the country going to their concerts.
