Terry alums dominate Bulldog 100

The Bulldog 100, an annual list of the fastest-growing business owned or operated by UGA alumni, was recently announced. This year, Terry alumni boast 58 of the 100 companies.
The top companies will be announced at a ceremony on Jan. 26 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.

Terry student earns Rhodes Scholarship

 
Juliet Elizabeth Allan was awarded a 2013 Rhodes Scholarship to attend England’s Oxford University, where she plans to pursue a master’s degree in Modern Middle Eastern Studies. She is one of 32 Rhodes recipients in the United States.

Georgia Economic Outlook set for Nov. 29

Athens, Ga. — The 30th annual Georgia Economic Outlook luncheon, hosted by the University of Georgia Terry College of Business, is set for Nov. 29 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

UGA Prof: Amortized cost is good policy for mutual funds

Athens, Ga. — In a paper the U.S. Chamber of Commerce released Nov. 1, University of Georgia accounting professor Dennis Beresford reaffirms the long-standing policy of using amortized cost for money market mutual funds.
