GE exec Peter Foss to speak Nov. 20 as part of the Terry Leadership Speaker Series

Peter N. Foss, a senior executive with GE who oversees the corporate giant's sales force effectiveness, as well as GE's Olympic sponsorship deal, is the next guest lecturer for the Terry Leadership Speaker Series on Friday, Nov. 20, at 10 a.m. in room 148 of the Miller Learning Center.

State Farm Sales Lab puts student talents on display in Terry Sales Competition

The students who put their skills on display during role-played sales calls were the stars of the annual Terry Sales Competition. But thanks to a State Farm donation of $96,000 for the construction of a dedicated sales lab in Sanford Hall, the students had a stage worthy of their performances.

Terry College and Ross School of Business to collaborate on 2010 Atlanta Leadership Symposium

The business schools at the University of Georgia and the University of Michigan are collaborating on a new executive program called the Atlanta Leadership Symposium. The six-part series will begin in January at the Terry Executive Education Center in Buckhead.
