Terry PeerLink
The Terry PeerLink is a mentor program that connects intended-business students with current junior and senior Terry students. This program is committed to providing guidance, leadership skills and an easier transition into the Terry College of Business.
Who should apply?
Mentees
This is an ideal program for intended-business students, recent transfer students and participants in the Business Ready Initiative.
Mentors
Mentors should be highly engaged in the Terry community, with a GPA that reflects a solid understanding of course material.
Benefits of being a Mentee
- Interact one-on-one with an involved Terry junior or senior
- Jump start your Terry career by identifying your short and long-term goals
- Learn about the great opportunities, programs and events available to Terry students
- Construct your resume
- Build a strong network with Terry Ambassadors, Leonard Leadership Scholars and other student leaders in an informal setting
Program Expectations
Mentors and Mentees are expected to make contact on a monthly basis and submit a short progress report at the end of each semester. We highly recommend mentors and mentees meet in person in the Casey Commons or other public settings. Mentors and mentees should both complete Mentorship agreements and make use of goal tracking sheets below.
How Do I Apply?
Terry PeerLink is a year-long program with initial matching occurring in late September and subsequent matching on a rolling basis as Mentors and Mentees apply.
