The Georgia MBA Program at the Terry College of Business is proud to announce a partnership with Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA), a national association for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer MBA students dedicated to increasing the influence of the LGBT+ community in business through educating, inspiring, and connecting MBA students and alumni.

ROMBA organizes several events, including an annual conference featuring C-suite panels, workshops, competitions, and a career fair with corporate partners across industries recruiting LGBT+ MBA talent. Its programming and services center on leadership development and building connections, working with multinational corporations to create appropriate and sustainable employment opportunities for LGBT+ MBA association members.

“This reaffirms our MBA program’s commitment to diversity and the LGBTQ+ community, and that we are a welcoming place for all students,” said Santanu Chatterjee, the associate dean for diversity, international and master’s programs at the Terry College of Business. “The partnership will also provide new resources for our LGBT+ MBA candidates.”

Georgia MBA is one of nearly 70 top business schools worldwide to partner with ROMBA and one of the few schools in the American South. In addition to serving as a resource for Full-Time MBA candidates and students, ROMBA offers Reaching Out LGBT+ MBA fellowships. The fellowship is a joint effort between prominent business school programs and Reaching Out to develop the out LGBT+ and active ally business leaders of tomorrow. Each Fellow receives a minimum $20,000 scholarship and access to exclusive leadership programming, including an all-expenses-paid retreat.

In addition to partnering with Reaching Out MBA, Georgia MBA partners with the National Black MBA Association and Prospanica: The Association of Hispanic MBAs and Business Professionals.
