Double Dawgs Pathway

Thank you for your interest in the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) at the University of Georgia through the Double Dawgs pathway. As a Double Dawg in the MSBA program, you develop a unique combination of skills and insights that are in high demand in this data-centric economy.

The Double Dawgs program allows students to earn both undergraduate and graduate degrees in five years. Students have found that, with hard work and focus, they can begin to take graduate-level courses while finishing their undergraduate program. MSBA graduates are highly sought after by employers for their combination of analytic and business knowledge.

MSBA Double Dawgs Pathways

The MSBA program currently sponsors 6 Double Dawgs pathways. Click the links below to view the program of study for each pathway.

How to Apply (Athena and MSBA)

The pathway allows students to take graduate-level courses while completing their undergraduate degree and applying for the MSBA program. Accepted students typically begin graduate coursework in fall semester of the fourth year, depending on expected completion of undergraduate requirements. A total of six hours of graduate coursework applies towards both degrees.

The MSBA program has developed a Double Dawgs pathway application to identify and place our most competitive students in graduate-level courses. We advise students to submit the pathway application during the spring semester of their third year, or after completing approximately 60 hours towards their undergraduate degree with at least nine hours of major coursework completed.

Interested students should submit a pathway application to the MSBA program for initial review. Eligible applications are forwarded to the program coordinator for approval. Admission to the pathway does not imply admission to the graduate program. Submit your pathway application by clicking below:

Additionally, an interested student will also “apply to the Pathway” in Athena. This notifies the graduate school of a student’s interest.

Pathway application deadlines:

  • Spring: November 1
  • Fall: July 1

Preferred requirements:

  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Minimum 60 hours in-progress with at least nine hours of major coursework completed or in progress
