Marketing is an integral part of our everyday activities and experiences. It is concerned with developing, transporting, promoting, and selling the vast assortment of products and services needed to satisfy the diverse wants and needs of consumers. It is an indispensable part of business practice and a challenging field for study and research.
Marketing is not what it used to be. In fact, it’s a lot more. In today’s complex and competitive environment, a marketing professional may manage products, services, brands, and customers. At Terry, students with a concentration in marketing explore the traditional area of product management alongside the emerging topics of managing brands, services, and customers. In addition, Terry recognizes that launching a marketing campaign for a new product is vastly different from managing a century-old established brand.
Our Master of Marketing Research (MMR) program at the Terry College of Business was the first Master of Marketing Research program in the U.S. and is internationally regarded as the standard of comparison for such programs.
The PhD Program in Marketing provides students with both strong empirical research skills in econometrics, psychometrics, and statistics and strong theory development in consumer behavior, psychology, and strategy.
