to earn Certified Analytics Professional (CAP®) and other relevant credentials.
The CAP® credential is designed for early- to mid-career analytics professionals.
Applicants need a bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional analytics experience
or a master's degree with 3 years of experience. All candidates sign an ethics code,
have their effectiveness confirmed by a third party, and take the examination.
Individual contributors and senior-level managers—from data science and analytics
and in areas such as marketing, operations, supply chain, e-commerce, digital, and
other groups—seeking to leverage the power of data for enhanced and more systematic

Beverly Wright, PhD, CAP, Program Director
Beverly Wright has almost 30 years leading and delivering data science and analytics through corporate,
consulting, and academic experiences. Currently, she serves Chief Analytics Strategies
at Axis Group.
Hani Safadi is an Assistant Professor in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia
where he teaches advanced data management and analytics. He is interested in studying
open-innovation, social media, healthcare information technology, and computational
theory development. Hani is also a Research Collaborator at Mayo Clinic and he holds
a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from McGill University.
Robert “Bob” Szymanski is a lecturer in the School of Accounting at the Darla Moore School of Business,
University of South Carolina and serves as the faculty coordinator for the SAP Academic
Alliances program. Szymanski also works directly with Executive Education to deliver
programs and to develop corporate outreach.
