The Terry College of Business annually recognizes high achieving students who demonstrate excellence in their academic endeavors. Graduate and undergraduate recipients of departmental awards are celebrated during the month of April.

Kometh Thawanyarat (Tony) is an Economics and Biology major hailing from Peachtree Corners, Ga. Tony has served as vice president of the Terry Economics Society and director of mentorship for the Terry Student Researchers. After graduating, Tony will attend the Medical College of Georgia.

Warren Walker hails from Juliette, Ga., and is a double major in Risk Management and Insurance and Mathematics. Warren is a member of the Redcoat Band and treasurer of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. After graduation, Warren will work as an advisory associate in the risk analytics department of KPMG in Atlanta.

Emily Bauer is pursuing degrees in Risk Management and Insurance and Finance. She is from Snellville, Ga. Emily considers her involvement as a tutor and mentor for elementary students in Clarke County as one of her most treasured commitments. Upon graduation, Emily will join Willis Towers Watson as an analyst in its graduate development program.

Akhil Hazari is from Johns Creek, Ga., and is pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems and Real Estate. After graduation, Akhil will join Deloitte Consulting as a business technology analyst.

Logan Vanderbilt is a Finance and Management Information Systems major from Alpharetta, Ga. Logan was a mentor to fellow Terry students and involved in the Corsair Society and Apollo Society. After graduation, Logan will join EY-Parthenon as an associate.

Jasmine Chen is a Finance major hailing from Duluth, Ga. Jasmine has been involved in the development of Women in Finance structurally and culturally. After graduation, Jasmine will move to New York City to join Citi as an investment banking analyst.
