Join us for Coffee and Conversations with Mr. Al Garrett, former President and CEO of Farmers National Bank.  Al's career spans more than 30 years in various leadership roles within the banking industry.  Don't miss this opportunity to hear about his career and professional journey!                                                       

Prior to his time at Farmers National Bank, he held the title of President of Jefferson National Bank for Richmond, Va, their entire Eastern Region and served as a member of the Executive Management Committee. After eight years, the bank was sold to Wachovia. Al also spent 2 years  as President of C&S in Tampa, Florida and 14 years prior to that as President of Crestor Bank in Charlottesville, Va. Additionally, he was a member of the Management team that created the BankAmeriCard for the state of Louisiana- which was the forerunner to Visa. Immediately after college, he spent 3 1/2 years as an Officer in the Navy. Al graduated from UGA in 1963 with a BBA in Real Estate and minor in Psychology; while at UGA, Al was an active member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and remains in close contact with his fraternity brothers.
