This event has already occurred.

Sign up for a 30-minute appointment with Terry alum Jerry Ragan to discuss career advice and insights on career advice, banking, leadership and more!

Jerry Ragan currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Credit Union of Georgia. His career with the Credit Union began in 2017 after a national search with over one hundred applicants.

Ragan’s passion for business and finance began at the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance. While attending school he worked in various positions from loan administrator to head teller to ATM night and weekend repair team member at a local bank. Upon graduating from the University of Georgia his education launched him into many senior and executive roles in multiple financial institutions around Atlanta. Before joining the Credit Union, he had acquired over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Ragan served as both a Senior Credit Officer for Commercial Lending and Chief Credit Officer – South for United Community Bank. Prior to United Community Bank, Ragan served in senior and executive roles at First Citizens Bank and Trust, SunTrust Bank and NationsBank. Ragan’s success in the financial industry is not only because of his passion and dedication, but because of the foundation he created while at the Terry College of Business.
