Brian is a private equity investor, business advisor and entrepreneur with 25+ years of investment banking, turnaround consulting, operational/financial management, and executive leadership experience with early-stage and middle market companies. He currently manages a private equity investment portfolio, serves on corporate and nonprofit boards of directors, and is an Instructor at the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Chamberlin Edmonds, a leading provider of healthcare revenue management services acquired by Emdeon in 2010 for $260M. While there, he was named “CFO of the Year” for Georgia privately-held, middle market companies by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Georgia Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, for his role in the 2008 recapitalization LBO/MBO of the company.
Founder/Managing Director of Morningside Advisors, an interim executive and turnaround management services firm to privately-held companies in the steel services, agribusiness and specialty finance industries.
Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Legacy Investment Group, an investment banking boutique, and Legacy Capital Partners, its private equity fund.
Senior debt-restructuring and turnaround/workout officer at Citibank/Citicorp Real Estate.
He began his career within the entrepreneurial services group of Price Waterhouse.
Brian received an MBA from Cornell University and a BS in Commerce, with Distinction, from the University of Virginia. He is a former CPA and also a graduate of Citicorp's Global Finance Institute.
