Biography

Richard Hamm is a visual communicator with more than 15 years of experience using still photography and video to tell stories. He returned to his alma mater, the University of Georgia, to serve as a videographer/photographer for the Terry College of Business.

Richard began his career as a photojournalist at the Athens Banner-Herald where he won numerous state and national awards for his coverage of the Athens community. After a decade in journalism, he left the industry to bring his talents to the world of marketing to help brands large and small tell their stories. His years of carrying around heavy cameras helped him physically prepare for the most recent challenge of being a new father. When he’s not behind a camera, Richard spends his days with his wife Alicin as they both try to keep up with their child Ruby and three fur buddies, Clyde Dawg, and cats Roma and Huckleberry (a.k.a. Bubbi).
