Jeff Thurk studies firm responses to government policy and is particularly interested in how firms adjust their pricing and investment decisions in response to changes in government tax, tariff, and innovation policies. His research has been published in leading economic journals including Econometrica, American Economic Journal: Microeconomics, and The RAND Journal of Economics. He teaches courses on firm pricing, competitive strategy, international trade, and data science including machine learning.
