B.BA (Accounting), magna cum laude, University of Georgia (1975); J.D. University of Georgia (1978).

Prior Professional Positions




2017‐present ‐ Executive in Residence, J.M. Tull School of Accounting Graduate School, teaching Corporate Income Tax, Cross‐jurisdictional Taxation and Accounting Professional Ethics.  
1978‐2014 – PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). Clients included multinational professional services, technology, and internet related companies as well as high net worth individuals. Tax partner for 26 years working in the PwC national independence office, the national tax quality and risk management office and the Washington, DC local and national tax practices. Extensive media training including serving as first designated tax expert for CNN. 
Professional Activities: AICPA member; former representative to ABA/AICPA National Committee of Lawyers and Accountants representative; and former Chair of the ABA Section of Taxation ‐ Tax Accounting Committee.
