Our BBA in Accounting provides a solid foundation for the MAcc program and serves as a launch pad for almost any business career. Our graduates are highly valued in the marketplace. With nearly 100% of accounting majors employed within three months after graduation, our students are well-positioned to secure a rewarding career opportunity.
Our Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program is consistently ranked among the best programs in the nation and will equip you with the professional and advanced technical skills needed to succeed as a CPA to succeed in public accounting or in related career fields where a CPA is valued.
If you’re a current undergraduate accounting major at UGA and are interested in pursuing a graduate degree, you are eligible to apply to the 5-year BBA/MAcc program during your senior year.
The 5-year program allows you to satisfy requirements for both the BBA and MAcc degrees concurrently.
Research in the J. M. Tull School of Accounting focuses on issues of importance to the accounting and business community, such as the impact of accounting information on capital markets and on the behavior of decision-makers within firms.
