Pinnacle Society

The Pinnacle Society was established in 2000 to recognize those dedicated alumni and friends whose cumulative lifetime giving to Terry College totals $1 million or more. Their generosity and support make possible many achievements that help secure the future of Terry College.

Dean's Circle

The Dean’s Circle of Giving recognizes individuals, corporations and foundations who have made substantial gifts to Terry College during the most recent fiscal year (July – June). Dean’s Circle members enjoy the privilege of being recognized as a member of UGA’s President’s Club as well as being invited to exclusive events hosted by the dean.

1912 Society

Founded in 1912 as the “School of Commerce,” the Terry College of Business is the oldest business school in the state of Georgia and one of 17 schools and colleges at the first public-chartered university in the country. In order to recognize and honor our most loyal donors, Terry College established the 1912 Society – a roster of supporters who have sustained annual gifts of at least three consecutive years. 1912 Society members also enjoy the privilege of being recognized as a member of UGA’s Third Pillar Society.

We proudly recognize and thank the many alumni, corporations, foundations, and friends who contribute their support to the college and its strategic initiatives. No gift is too small and they all have a very big impact on our students. The Honor Roll of Donors heralds all of our contributors during the most recent fiscal year (July – June). Shareholders' Society

The Shareholders’ Society honors alumni and friends who have pledged planned gifts to the University of Georgia. The gifts support the Terry College of Business Endowment for Excellence, helping to strengthen a college-wide endowment that is needed to compete effectively with peer and aspirational schools. Shareholders’ members will have annual meetings and receive endowment reports from the UGA Foundation to follow the fund’s performance.

Second Century Club

As Terry College celebrates more than 100 years as a business school, the Second Century Club recognizes emerging philanthropists who earned their bachelors degree fewer than 12 years ago. These young alumni make a meaningful annual gift of at least $250 and are setting the standard for alumni of the next century.

Heritage Society

The Heritage Society honors alumni and friends who have pledged planned gifts to the University of Georgia. Among the types of planned gifts are bequests, life insurance policies, pooled income funds and charitable remainder trusts. The following individuals have designated their planned gifts to the Terry College of Business and been inducted into the Heritage Society.

Terry Dean's Advisory Council

The Terry Dean’s Advisory Council (TDAC) is the seniorlevel task force of volunteers established for the purposes of promoting and improving the College. In particular, members of TDAC advise the Dean of the College, help foster corporate relationships, and participate in or lead activities for the good of the College.

Young Alumni Board

The Terry College of Business Young Alumni Board exists to bridge the gap between the Terry College student experience and greater alumni network. The board’s mission is to develop initiatives that support the goals of Terry College.

MIS Advisory Board

For over 25 years, the MIS Advisory Board has been the primary point of contact between industry and the Department of MIS. It helps ensure that the MIS curriculum meets the needs of employers, supports cutting-edge research, provides speakers for classes, funds scholarships for outstanding MIS students, and more. It is an invaluable resource for the MIS program at the Terry College of Business.

Risk Management & Insurance Program Advisory Board

The Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) Program Advisory Board is a valuable resource of feedback, professional insight, talent and support. While the board provides counsel to the RMI Program Head on issues affecting the program, its curriculum, and employment opportunities of its students, the board also engages in and supports the fundraising efforts of the RMI Program. The board provides key contacts for faculty to inform their research and teaching, and provides input to the RMI Program Head on the strategic direction and progress of the program.

Alumni Board

The Terry College Alumni Board serves in an advisory capacity to the Dean and faculty of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. Board Members promote and support Terry programs and activities in order to cultivate and encourage a continuing affiliation between and among former students and the institution.

MBA Advisory Board

The goal of the MBA Advisory Board is to tap into the knowledge and insights of MBA alumni and employers to insure that Terry is providinga market-driven, skills focused curriculum that leads the best companies to seek out and hire our MBA graduates.

MMR Advisory Board

The MMR Advisory Board provides strategic guidance to the MMR Program and brings real-world perspective and experience to the faculty and to the classroom. The board includes recognized leaders in marketing research from a broad cross-section of businesses and organizations, including consumer goods companies, marketing research firms, pharmaceutical companies, retailers, financial services providers, and others.

Tull School Advisory Board

The J. M. Tull School of Accounting Advisory Board is a valuable resource of feedback, professional insight, talent and support. While the board provides counsel to the Director on issues affecting the school, curricula, programs and employment opportunities of our students, it also engages in and supports the fundraising efforts of the School. The Advisory Board provides key contacts for faculty to inform their research and teaching, and provides input to the Director on the strategic direction and progress of the School.
