Here's where you can find the words that complete the six rhymes.

  After a football victory
Athens is never dull
A plaque by the big noisemaker
Remembers ____________.
See the plaque on the west side of the Chapel.

Before Athens was selected
Due to a search quite thorough
Two other towns were considered:
________.
See the historical marker next to the Arch.

UGA's first was not yet built
The time for that was nearing
So students and professor met
All in a ________.
See the plaque on the north side of Old College.

When passing by this water'y place
On your comin's and goin's
Did you ever stop to see the name
of Dean ____________.
See the plaque next to the (small) fountain just east of Old College.

Brooks Hall's a real nice building
In fact, it's really quite neat
It has an elevation of
____________ feet.
It turns out there are two ways to answer this. There's a small marker in the concrete next to the steps in the northeast corner of Brooks Hall. A (probably more accurate) answer can also be discovered on-line in a UGA document.

All those who want to see the yews
Will have to look at old pics
But if the yews were flourishing
We'd trace them back to ________.
See the stone marker facing Broad Street north of the Holmes/Hunter Academic Building.
