Print Required Reading Lazear, E. and M. Gibbs, Personnel Economics for Managers 2e, Wiley. The second edition is not yet ready for publication, but Mike Gibbs has graciously given his permission to use the draft chapters of the text. You can purchase copies at Bel-Jean. In addition to the text, you will assigned cases and articles from the popular press. You can download tassigned readings from the restricted course materials page.
You are responsible for the content in all
reading assignments. Listserv Grades
You will be ranked relative to other students in the class according to your overall performance and grades assigned based on your class rank. I will use the plus/minus system to make distinctions within grade categories.
Regular class attendance is expected. UGA academic regulations authorize a professor to withdraw students with excessive absences and I will exercise that authority. Also, it will be very difficult to earn credit for class participation if you are not there.
If you know now that you will not be able to take the
final exam at the scheduled time, then you should drop this course. |
