Application for Major Program Revision
A double major in the Terry College of Business enables a student to complete two majors concurrently while earning the BBA degree from the Terry College of Business. (A student must complete a minimum of 21 additional hours in the specific major requested to earn the BBA degree.)
A second major in the Terry College of Business is the terminology used when a student has completed or will complete his/her BBA degree and wishes to begin an additional major in a future term following receipt of the degree. A minimum of 21 additional hours in the specific major requested is required.
Students who are currently enrolled in Terry majors must complete an application to change majors. Students may not request a change of major until they have completed one full semester following their admission to the Terry College of Business.
Terry College of Business academic departments review applications to add a double major, add a second major, or change majors during the regular application periods in Fall and Spring semesters. An additional application period for Terry College students to request a change of major, second major or double major is available in the summer application period.
At the present time, some majors remain extremely over-enrolled. As a result, the ability to double major, add a second major, or change to another major is not guaranteed to Terry College of Business undergraduates.
