I realized through participating in the [mentorhsip] program the role of Terry Alumni within the college and the impact they have made on the program.

What resources did you use or would you like to encourage other students to use?: I signed up for the Terry College of Business Mentorship Program, and I’m so glad I did! I realized through participating in the program the role of Terry Alumni within the college and the impact they have made on the program. Not only my mentor, but several other alumni have reached out to me to let me know they're here to help me anytime. It’s so nice to know that I have so many people behind be that want me to succeed.
Please explain your overall experience with the Terry College of Business and its services.: As a junior, the mentorship program was extremely helpful to me as I juggled school, work, and applications for internships. My mentor helped encourage me to not fall behind in my search for internships and was a very useful resource for resume building and interviews.
What are your career/future plans?: After graduation, I plan to move to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where I will find a job at a banking institution.
What advice do you have for students?: I strongly encourage all juniors to get involved with the mentorship program. My mentor was extremely helpful to me during such a busy time. We talked once a month every month and plan to keep in touch beyond the mentorship relationship.
