My biggest piece of advice for my peers and younger students would be to get involved and to surround themselves with those who excel.

My overall experience with Terry has been a great one. This past summer, I was accepted to the Terry Academy, a week-long Mergers & Acquisitions program in which we used real figures to make a pitch to the CEO of a company. From this experience, I expanded my professional network and formed relationship with current students. This summer, I will work as a Business Analyst intern with Deloitte. Randy Groomes, the Director of Diversity Relations, served as my mentor for much of my freshman year and was instrumental in helping me secure this exciting internship opportunity. Terry continually facilitates relationships with companies and students.

With these great experiences on my resume, I aspire to work as a consultant for a couple of years before returning to school to obtain my MBA. I also have hopes to act as a Chief Executive Officer or Chief Financial Officer of a company.

My biggest piece of advice for my peers and younger students would be to get involved and to surround themselves with those who excel. Sooner or later it’ll rub off!
