I got an internship working in Palo Alto, California for the world’s leading manufacturer in medical equipment, including machines that detect cancer. It is a multi billion dollar company and I am so fortunate to have gotten this opportunity. Being a Terry Ambassador and just part of Terry in general put me on the map. I was told about this opportunity to go out west and work in their internal audit department, and I thought what better than getting real world experience with such a great company? And not to mention it is in sunny California. I start this summer and cannot wait to get out there!

Being a Terry Ambassador really put me in the right position to get this job. I have met so many people and made many contacts which led me to hearing about this opportunity. Just try and get out and shake as many hands as possible because you never know who may need you one day and they will think about the short interaction and impression you made on them and that can make all the difference in where you end up one day.

Terry has been amazing. I am a junior accounting major and I have been taken out to countless dinners and been made aware of many future job opportunities and this would have never been possible without Terry. Terry has a great reputation so employers are looking for the best when they come here, and I have learned that hard work and dedication will you get you places. Terry gives you all the resources to be successful in the future and it is up to you to go out and take advantage of all these amazing opportunities. Being an Ambassador has allowed me to see the inside and out of Terry. Terry brings in CEO’s and has monthly meetings, all to help out the students. We are open to so many great things!

I plan on getting a MAcc degree and then going to law school. From there I would love to go into some sort of Corporate law, incorporating my background in accounting/business with the law.

Take advantage of everything Terry has to offer. Your friends may be sitting around and relaxing, and while it is tough to stay in the library on that nice, sunny day you will be the one with a great job and many contacts because if you put in the effort, Terry will do the rest.
